Waitangi Day

On Waitangi day it was a nice and cool day. Then later on my mum and I decided that we should go and get my brother and my nephew. So we got up, got changed, had breakfast and hopped in the car and drove off. It wasn't that long so I waited and then finally we arrived there. We saw my niece and brother outside but we didn't see my nephew? We stayed until the afternoon We saw him later on so we all got in the car and went home. When we got home it was dark so I went for a shower and went to bed!

Clay Modeling Techniques - iPhone

More than 14 days ago ( 2 weeks ) room 11 had to get into groups and decide what kind of technology we wanted to make out of clay. So we got into groups of 3 Maranatha, Gloria and myself made a group and decided that we were going to make an iPhone. So when we finished, we had to write about what we wanted to include what a phone comes with. But of course, you would have to include a charger, because it is the most important thing.  So 3 days ago we had to make what we wrote about, out of clay. When we finally finished  we had to take a photo of what we made. Here is a photo of what I  made:

So about 8 or 7 days ago we had to decide what we wanted to do for our book study. So it was either Lemony Sniket or Goosebumps. So we got into a circle and had to say what we wanted to do our book study about. As soon as we finished saying what we wanted to do, it was mainly goosebumps. So we got into groups of 4 and decided what we were going to write about. The things that were written about were the blurb, The designs for our library presentation, The author and The Night of the living dummy series. From today we have completed our work and it is going to be put up on the library wall!

Bleeding Hearts!!!

Tamaki College boys have done a good job digging out Room 11s garden. So thanks to them, the class wrote about what they want in our garden. But the main thing I want in our garden are bleeding hearts. So there you have it. My not coming true garden!

Police Chase Escaped Emus!

A police chase in Texas lasted almost 24 hours after four emus escaped their enclosure and took to the streets.

Selena Quinanilla P'erez

Selena’s full name is Selena Quintanilla Perez.

Selena was born in 1971 April the 16th in lake Jackson Texas.She became a famous singer at the age of 23 years old.

Selena has one brother and one sister.Her brothers name is A.B. Quintanilla and her sisters name is Suzette Quintanilla.

Sadly Selena died in 1995.The cause of Selena’s tragic death was that she had a gunshot wound in her shoulder from one of her fans called Yolanda Saldivar.

Selena was buried at the Seaside Memorial Park,Corpus Christi,Texas,United States.

Selena became famous all because of her talented voice.Most of her songs

were Mexican like Como La Flor.But she did manage to make one English song called Dreaming Of You that was produced in 1994.
