Visiting Tamaki Primary

clean up in our roofs . We had to go to Tamaki because we had Asbestos in our roof. As we got on the bus and made our way to the Tamaki Primary gates
we got welcomed with a Haka. We had to line up in our class lines before we went off to our classes. As Tamaki Primary finished doing their Haka we went to our class rooms. The class Room 11 was in was the Art Room. We didn't have any work for the first day so we did art.
I HAD FUN!

Shot put superstar, Valarie Adams has won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Michelle Carter from U.S.A won with a mighty 20.63m throw that was to great for Adams.Carter blew away the competition with her final throw after trailing Adams for the entire competition. My Olympic Mascot
Today Room 11 had to create a mascot that had to be linked to the Olympic games. It took me a while to think about it but I still managed to come up with something. My mascot is a fox. I think I could have done better while drawing it!

Digital Art
So for digital art I did a Maori design and other people did patterns and faces. So my choice was to choose sumo paint or pixlr so I used sumo paint. For my design I chose a tiki. The things that I started with are the eyes. Then I carried on with the head using the tools on sumo paint.

" Shake Out Drill !"
When we were doing our spelling the bell went BRING, BRING! It was the Shakeout Drill that was being held all over New Zealand at 9:15am.
So we all rushed under our desks. While we were under our desks people were laughing and playing games. We had to stay under them for a couple of minutes until the all clear bell rang.
When the drill was finally finished Miss Brough let us know it was over and asked us if we were all ok.
